This is part 2 of the “article writing tactics” topic we looked at yesterday. Let’s continue our discussion on article marketing tactics and die right back in where we left off. We have now built belief and are looking to make a sale. On to step 4.
Step 4
Turn Belief Into Action
The consumer is now far enough down the path to a sale that we must get them to take action. Sales is a game of cat and mouse. We want to make a sale, however, we must never come off that way. Instead, we tell the customer what to do because at this point, they already want to do it anyway. Encourage them to join your newsletter to receive a free eBook, join your site for free to receive access to your forums or “secret blog”, or simply ask them to fill out a short form on your site for feedback. Tell them what to do, these are great article marketing tactics.
Step 5
Action Equals Reaction
It’s now your turn to act. The consumer has shown interest or has purchased your product and it is time for you to show how grateful you are for that business. Send an automated thank you style email for their purchase, allow access to a previously restricted area of your site to them, give them their free item you promised. This is a crucial moment in the life of your business plan and will either help generate repeat business, or could possibly lose your brand new consumer to someone who will treat them better. Remember, new consumers are a great catch, however, repeat business will keep your business alive in the long run. This should be one of your top priorities when building your article marketing action plan.
Step 6
Turn Reaction Back Into Interest
We have made a sale, we have a new customer, we have followed up and have done a good job to satisfy our customer. Time to rest? Never. It is now time to turn that reaction into momentum. What I mean buy that is we have a customer, they have our product, they are satisfied, and now we must build more interest. This takes us back to Step 1. Momentum can quickly be turned back into interest by following the steps outlined above. This is the cycle of great article marketing tactics and a demonstration of an article marketing action plan.
